I grew up in New Jersey as a Nets fan. Before you start to throw jokes at me, the Nets were a playoff team when I was growing up. They had Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson and Drazen Petrovic. They were good. But when I moved to Chicago, it was right around the second to last Jordan championship so I started to understand what a great basketball team looked like. So I started following the Bulls. Now Im going to tell you how I can fix the Bulls so they can win the title in 2013.
#5. Trade Omer Asik.
“The Turkish Hammer” is the most softest, clumsiest, offensively challenged 7-footer in the game. He played 14 minutes per game and only managed to average just 3 points and 5 rebounds. Some might say well he’s not there to score, he’s there to play defense. Well for a 7-footer (usually the only 7-footer on the floor) to give you only 3 defensive rebounds and 1 block per game isnt all that impressive. As a 7-footer, you should have something that resembles an offensive move and by learning to play offense at that height, it would certainly take some of the scoring pressure off Derrick Rose.
