I’ve been a big fan of Lisa Morales for a while now, so I decided to reach out to her to see if she wanted to do an interview. And without hesitation, she graciously agreed! First let me start by saying that Lisa is absolute sweetheart and a class act. Setting some time to get the interview completed was a bit difficult because of her busy schedule of Telemundo show and modeling career, but she always kept in contact with me about potentially setting some time aside for me. And for that, I thank her! We finally made some time to sit down and do the interview in the middle of March and heres how it went.
Turd Ferguson – So Lisa, Im Puerto Rican so I know you’ve been on Telemundo for quite some time now. But could you tell my readers about your show?
Lisa Morales – The name of the show is Nitido – I’m the host of the sports segment on the show. You can watch me every Saturday 12pm EST.
TF – Working with Telemundo and FuseTV Im sure has given you the chance to meet other celebrities, who was your favorite celeb to have met?
LM – Gloria Estefan, she’s beautiful and down to earth! Plus she’s a living legend in the Latin community.
TF - Have you ever been asked to be on a Telenovela?
LM – Yes, I have! I’m currently focusing on my acting career. I used to be part of an acting group when I was 13 years old. In my very first play, I won best female actress!
TF – In your everyday life, would you rather speak Spanish or English?
LM – Both, I speak Spanglish!
TF – Where would you like to see your career in 5 years?
LM – Hosting, modeling, acting and traveling! I would like to have my own show where I get to have fun, travel, meet interesting people and just enjoy life.
TF – Can I co-host and be your comedic relief?
LM – If I get that show then I’ll have my people call your people.
TF – Deal! (We shook on it)
TF – You might have the best abs I’ve seen in the modeling world, how often do you work out?
LM – Thanks! Well I normally enjoy eating healthy. I work out 5 times a week, I ride my bicycle, drink a lot of water and I just watch what I eat. My motto is, “You have to commit to be fit.”
TF – Whats the ideal first date?
LM – Dinner and drinks… enjoying each others company while getting to know each other.
TF – Kinda like what we’re doing right now… on our first date.
LM – HA! I thought this was an interview?! Plus Im taken.
TF – You’re taken? Lets move on then.
TF – Whats your favorite curse word?
LM – Pretty girls don’t curse.
TF – I curse… often.
LM – Handsome men shouldnt curse.
TF – So since you’re spoken for, do you have a twin sister that is single?
LM – Sorry, no twin.
