I finally saw The Hangover. No, I didnt watch on online or on bootleg. I actually took the wife out on a date! What did I think of it? Hands down the funniest movie of the year. Maybe even the best movie of the year. So as I was driving back home I started wondering:
Why dont movies like The Hangover ever get nominated for Best Picture?
Really. Movies are supposed to be entertaining. And The Hangover was entertaining. No, no, no, it was FUCKING ENTERTAINING!! Lets be real here, it was better than Slumdog Millionaire. And everyone was jocking that Indian movie like it was Gone With The Wind or something. But regardless, I say the peeps who decide of the Oscars should consider The Hangover as Best Picture.
The movie had everything:
- Humor
- It pulled at the heart (White Doug almost didnt get married)
- Mike Tyson
- Heather Graham’s tits
- Chickens in a pent house
- Naked Asian guy (no homo)
- Drugs
- And a baby in sunglasses
What more do you want in a movie?
